Situated prominently within the upscale Pembroke Condominiums in the heart of Downtown Knoxville, this residential renovation project combines two adjacent circa 1982 one bedroom units into a single modern, contemporary three bedroom suite for a young newlywed couple. The design solution centered around the plan layout with the necessity to tie into existing plumbing locations with the new locations for both the kitchen and bathrooms. Once a pragmatic solution was obtained, the project developed into one about high-end finishes that celebrate the clean, simple design solution.
